I Was Charged Twice For One Order!

I tried to order a couple hair pieces on their site, but there was a glitch in their system, and the transaction was canceled. So...I ordered the items again. Well, it seems the "glitch" actually went through, so I was charged twice for one order! I only received the one order, but they are still charging me twice. I called the company to fix this and was told to "just send the second order back." The second order never arrived, but I am still being charged for it. Be very careful when ordering from this company as they tend to make errors. I am now working with my credit card company to get my money back.

I have been a customer of Paula Youngs…

I have been a customer of Paula Youngs for nearly 6 years. I have Lupus & been on 2 different chemo for years which has painfully thinned my natural hair. I first started using paula young in 2014 when I went to wigs full time....Most wigs in Paual Youngs selection in the early days were of decent value. The wigs almost never looked like the picture other than being short, medium or long. Usually the colors were good I had to have wigs cut to the style shown in the catalog to make them work for me. One doesn't need expensive specialty wig shop, I slapped mine on & had SuperCuts cut it. Wigs generally came in two sizes. Im very experienced and have been wearing some kind of added hair for over 25 years. I always loved playing with hair. (Ladies to get the "brassy" or "shiny sheen" out of your hair let me suggest getting some "powder play" made by Big Sexy Hair. Sold on ebay & amazon. Lightly(very lightly) sprinkle entire wig & see the transformation. Hair will behave better & look natural.) I hope that tip helps! Back to Paula Young .... today I purchased a wig that was well over $100. The color & cut was nearly spot on. Not like the picture but after a bit of Powder Play...I was able to style the wig in a flattering way. However, the wig is threadbare on top. Which to my great irritation has been a reoccurring issue. The point of wearing a good wig....is so that folks don't know it's a wig. Being able to easily see the white fabric the hair is attached too....kinda gives away my secret. This threadbare problem is growing worse. I have to use a lot of smoke & mirrors to keep the illusion. I have purchased fabric pens to color the white. That has worked nicely but the wig today is so thin I'm considering sewing in a weft of hair from another wig. It shouldn't be this hard with a product that's one of their more expensive wigs but the quality has begun to become too low...that I might have to discontinue buying from them. In addition....the two different sizes have become one. Thankfully I don't have a larger sized head but one of my wigs is just too small.

Paula did give me a few good wigs but
One day it didn’t and that’s when it all went south Not long after suddenly I was charged $98 to my great surprise because I’d ordered nothing Had to get a new card for safety
Checked another wig place minewig’s and ordered and got for 117.00 a wig that you’d maybe wear for Halloween
Found a website that mentioned reputable wig companies and Paula young was on there Decided I’d try again and received a good wig But suddenly they took 14.95 out of my account for their paula young platinum plus Immediately emailed and told them I never ordered this or signed up and wanted my money back
They responded they’d cancel my membership but of course no money
It took me long enough to realize they are completely unethical and will literally steal your money Please take my advice and stay away from them Don’t know what to do about a wig but they’ve gotten my last dollar
Yep had to get another card

False Advertising!

I get an email saying I can buy a wig for $39 and Free Shipping. I put the code in and "No Discount" for shipping! I call the company and I'm told at the bottom of the email I got it says I have to spend $59 to get FREE shipping. That is completely deceptive marketing. I don't appreciate this kind of underhanded tactics! I've enjoyed the wigs I get from Paula Young company but this false advertising is turning me away from this company.

Worst online buying experience

This review is not about wigs, it is about the company. Customer service is TERRIBLE. No refund, despite my returning wig weeks ago. They claimed they wrote a check (even though I paid by credit card) but do not know when it will be mailed out! Can you believe that?

To send back they charge a exzorabant re-stocking fee plus more shipping fee.
Do not buy from this company.

Purchased ZARA wig 56/ 60

Purchased ZARA wig 56/ 60. The shade matches my hair exactly ????percent. Luv the cut and style and the lace front. She can be pulled back with a Barrett, bandana,headbands. She's perfect I give her a 10+++ Highly recommended for a purchase

What a nightmare ordering from Paula…

What a nightmare ordering from Paula Young. They can't find my order, another wig is backordered and won't come for another 2 months and then on top of that....they won't refund me what I paid for the wig and they also want an extra $20 for restock. WHAT A SCAM!!!

I was told if I sent it back within two weeks they will exchange with a small fee for one that I replaced it with
I sent it back the next day and that was last September
I have called numerous times and always told it was in the process of being sent
I am still waiting
I paid for 2 wigs and only have one
Worst company I have ever dealt with

So dissapointed!

My mom has been buying wigs from them for years they usually were pretty nice and natural looking. She just bought a new one and received it today.
Vicki absolutely horrible looks like a hack job and so fake and cheaply made. I'd give zero Stars if she is so dissapointed, says she won't return it cuz it cost too much to send it back.

This is a scam

This is a scam. They pre-populate the box at checkout that automatically enrolls you in a platinum membership. My 90 year old mother who
Lives on social security has had $14.95 taken out of her checking every month for 9 months. When I contacted them, they nlew me off and did nothing to help. Despicable.

Wigs and prices good. Returns a nightmare.

Wigs are fine. Prices are good. Ordering is easy. But BEWARE if you ever need to return a wig from Canada. It is the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. I often don’t believe these negative reviews, or think they are the exception, until it happened to me! The worst thing was someone in their receiving company helped themselves to a shopping spree using my credit card information! 1. The “pre-paid” label they send is not pre-paid. You have to pay Canada Post’s high fees. 2. The tracking info was not updated when received. Canada Post said it was received but there is something strange happening at the location that they were not at liberty to say. 3. Even though received, it takes at least 45 days for the Canada receiver to communicate this with the US company. (Supposedly they wait until they have a bulk shipment). So it takes a long time to receive a credit. (I did eventually get a credit toward an exchange and finally received a wearable wig about 3 months after I first placed the order.) 4. Phoning them is very annoying. Once you get through the automated system and wait for a live agent, they keep placing you on hold. Speaking to a regular agent is useless for anything other than a simple order. The supervisors are OK, if you can handle the wait to get one. 5. Then the credit card company called me to say my card had been compromised. There were charges in Ontario to the US card that I had only used with Paula Young. I called the company about this, and the supervisor just kept repeating “I am so sorry”. In short: •Do not order from this company if you are unsure about the wig. •Read the reviews carefully. (Watch out for way too much hair at the front.). •If you have to return, insist on sending it to the US rather than the Canadian company.
